Jan & Ely with Dalmacademy’s Dutch Dialect (Dotje)

When we first went to visit the puppies in Germany, they were 3 weeks old.

When I saw the puppy that would fit best with us, I was immediately sold and in love, and I started to count down the weeks and days until we could pick her up.
Her fancy name is Dialect, but the name we call her is Dotty. She is named after one of the puppies from the movie 101 Dalmatians.
During the drive back to Zeeland (250km), she was immediately very sweet and went to sleep.

She cried only a little bit during the first night, and we haven’t heard her at all after then.
Getting her potty trained was really easy too. Our oldest cat immediately adopted her, but the youngest one didn’t like it too much at first, but everything worked out perfectly.
She’s always off the leash during our big walk and she only had a short period in which she wouldn’t come right away when we called her. She’s a very sweet dog who would love to lay on your lap all day if she could.
Despite that, she doesn’t cause any problems if she has to stay home alone for a while. She doesn’t tear anything up, which she has never done by the way.
She is a real part of the family and I don’t even want to think about not having her anymore.

Greetings, Dotty Jan and Ely
